As a high-precision functional component, the dynamic and static pressure spindle needs to pay attention to multiple aspects during use to ensure its normal operation and extend its service life. Here are some precautions for using dynamic and static pressure spindles:
1、 Installation and Debugging
Open box inspection: Before installation, carefully check whether the dynamic and static pressure spindles and their related components are complete, and observe whether there is any damage during transportation.
Correct installation: Follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines to ensure that the spindle is correctly installed on the machine tool, avoiding collisions and damage.
During installation, pay attention to keeping the spindle and bearings clean to avoid impurities entering.
Debugging steps: Start the refrigeration machine, hydraulic station return oil pump, and hydraulic station main supply oil pump simultaneously, and wait for the hydraulic system to stabilize before installing and disassembling the cutting tools.
When replacing the tool, the rear end cover of the spindle should be removed first, the cutting rod should be loosened, the original tool should be removed, and the new tool should be carefully installed.
Before debugging, confirm the rotation direction of the spindle, and judge whether the rotation direction of the motor meets the machining requirements by lightly tapping the motor switch and quickly disconnecting it.
2、 Oil supply and lubrication
Oil supply system: Ensure the normal operation of the oil supply system, and adjust the oil supply pressure value to the specified range (usually 2-2.5MPa).
When there is no oil supply, try to avoid rotating the spindle as much as possible and prohibit hitting the spindle and its components.
Lubrication requirements: Use the specified spindle oil, such as 2 # spindle oil, and avoid using other substitute oils.
Regularly check the fuel level in the tank to ensure that it reaches 70% or more of the tank's capacity.
When installing and disassembling grinding wheels, the oil supply system should be turned on to protect the spindle and bearings.
3、 Operation and maintenance
Normal operation: No monitoring is required when operating normally within the set speed range and load conditions.
But it is necessary to regularly check the operating status of the spindle and bearings, such as temperature, vibration, and noise.
Shutdown and maintenance: When stopping work, first turn off the spindle motor, and then turn off the hydraulic system after the spindle stops rotating.
Regularly check the spindle oil and filter element. The spindle oil needs to be filtered or replaced every six months, and the filter element needs to be checked every two months. If the damaged or blocked area reaches more than 20%, please replace it in a timely manner.
4、 Precautions
Avoid overspeed operation: It is strictly prohibited to use the spindle for overspeed operation to avoid damaging the spindle and bearings.
Correct rotation direction: It is strictly prohibited to use the wrong spindle rotation direction, otherwise it may cause equipment damage or safety accidents.
Prohibition of unauthorized modification: It is strictly prohibited to modify the overload operating parameters of the spindle without authorization to avoid damage to the spindle.
Return oil pipe management: Pay attention to whether the return oil is smooth, and the return oil pipe should not be too long or bent, in order to minimize the return oil resistance as much as possible.
Spindle protection: Reasonable machining parameters should be set during the use of the spindle to avoid unsuitable working conditions such as heavy cutting and high speed.
If abnormal spindle temperature rise, spindle vibration, and spindle operating noise are found, please immediately stop spindle rotation and check whether the oil inlet and return systems are working properly.
In summary, the precautions for using the dynamic and static pressure spindle cover installation and commissioning, oil supply and lubrication, operation and maintenance, as well as multiple aspects of precautions. Following these precautions can ensure the normal operation of the dynamic and static pressure spindle and extend its service life.
